    When I launched Supertux, I experienced problems with the screen. It would go black. To resolve this I edited the Supertux launcher. This is how I did that. Right click on the Ubuntu menu and select edit menus. Click games, then SuperTux, and finally properties. Change the command entry to: supertux –opengl
