Hello, my name is Joe Steiger. Welcome to my website! Computers and technology are my passion. I consider myself a self-taught tech geek, taught by the knowledgeable people of the Internet. I started this site in March of 2010 in a way to give back to the tech community who has taught me so much.

In April of 2008, I was introduced to the open source operating system Ubuntu. Ubuntu is similar to Windows and Mac OS X. You can find out more about it on their website: http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop Ever since I started using Ubuntu, well, I have become more and more obsessed on the power of technology. Ubuntu has given me the confidence to try new things, push buttons and see what happens so to speak. :) Since using Ubuntu, I have become passionate about open source technology, such as Linux and Android. I hope to use this blog to share my tech knowledge, and tech related content in general.
