Ubuntu Boot Animation for Android

  • TeamFluxion has created a neat little Android boot animation that resembles the Ubuntu boot screen.  They say it is meant to resemble the Ubuntu 9.x startup animation, but I am guessing they are unfamiliar with Ubuntu.  Ubuntu 9.10 was before their rebranding, when they switched to brown, orange, and purple coloring.  I think the boot animation is meant to resemble 10.04.

    If your Android device is rooted, you can download the boot animation here.

    Once downloaded, copy the zip file to /system/media/bootanimation.zip on your Android device.

    The boot animation is compatible with devices with a screen resolution of 800×480.
