Verizon Announces Shared Data Plans

  • Verizon Wireless announced today starting June 28th they will be offering “Share Everything Plans” that will allow consumers to share data between multiple users and devices.  Share Everything Plans will include unlimited voice minutes, unlimited text, video and picture messaging and a single data allowance for up to 10 Verizon Wireless devices.  In addition, Mobile Hotspot will be included at no additional charge.  The new plan will be available to new, as well as existing, customers who might want to move to the new plans.

Below is a price and data allotments of the new plan:

What do you think of these new plans?  For me personally, these plans don’t really help me as I am not sharing data with anyone.  Since I was just able to renew my grandfathered unlimited plan, I’m good for 2 more years. I might consider this after because I like the free mobile hotspot deal.  I would love to share internet with my Galaxy Tab 10.1.
