GameStop To Offer Android Tablet And Smartphone Trade-Ins This Summer

  • GadgetExperts has been able to confirm that the video game selling giant, GameStop, will start offering trade-ins for used Android tablets and smartphones.  GameStop will allow trade-ins of Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Nexus S and Samsung Infuse 4Gs, at select locations, this summer.  Gamestop plans to expand their trade-in program to all their locations by the end of this year.

I am curious to see if this will benefit consumers.  I know you can’t get much of anything trading in old video games.  I think people will be better off selling their old devices on Swappa or eBay.  We will have to see.
