  • I wanted to do a post here to give you an update on what I’m up to.  You may have noticed, I am not pushing out much content at all.  I haven’t even done a video tutorial on my youtube channel in…almost 3 months.  Wow, has it really been that long?  Too be perfectly honest, I’m not 100% happy with the quality of the content I was/am producing.  Being the anal perfectionist that I am, if I am not 100% sold, I won’t do it.  I’m stubborn like that. :)  If I don’t want to watch my tutorials, why would I expect all of you to?  Do you understand what I’m thinking?  With that being said, when I get comments from some of you all saying how my tutorials have been a big help to you, of course that makes me want to continue.  I have just been pondering here of ways I can do tutorials, in a new fun way that both you and I will be happy with.  I think I may have thought of that way.  I have started working with >Kris Occhipinti of and on bringing a 3D effect to my screencasts.  The embedded video below Kris did is what I had in mind for my new screencast tutorials.

The video above has more animation to it than I will probably be using, but hopefully it gives you a general idea of my plan.  It is a VERY SLOW process.  I am not doing well at all learning the Blender program lol.  But I am determined to get it to work for you guys.  I am back in school so to speak lol. :)

I also wanted to cover Linux news here on my site.  That was actually my New Year’s resolution. (At least 1 Linux news post a day)  I haven’t done good at that.  I am a slow blogger lol. By the time I can get a post up, the news has already been up on the OMGUbuntu’s, WebUpD8’s,…etc’s of the interwebs for hours.  I ask you all, do you want me to cover news as well (of course a little late), or just stick to my tutorials, and have them cover the news?  Another option would be to take on writers to cover news articles.  I’m not sure I want to do that.  We’ll see.  What do you think?

With all the up in the air stuff I mentioned above, I know one thing for sure.  I will be continuing my Android device reviews.  I will be posting my review of the Asus Transformer Prime this weekend.  I am also reviewing the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon.  That review will be posted early next week.  I was going to review the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus next, but Amazon shipped a defective unit.  I’m sending it back.  I don’t know if I will have them ship another.  I do have a question for you guys in the review category.  Would you like a review on the Spark tablet?  I’m still undecided if I want one myself.  I don’t know what I would use it for.

I think I’ll end this very wordy post here lol.  If you have any ideas, suggestions, comments on anything I mentioned, feel free to comment below.  As much feedback as I can get would be greatly appreciated.
