Kazam, Screencasting Tool, Receives An Update

The Kazam screencasting app (the one I use for my screencasts) has received a pretty substantial update, bringing it to version 1.0

Changes with Kazam 1.0 include:
- Ability to record certain screen regions
- Support for two audio channels, with volume settings
- Output can be saved in WebM or Matroska
- Uses gstreamer instead of ffmpeg
- Countdown timer is now customizable, from 1-65 seconds
- Countdown window has now variable width
- Adjustable framerate, from 1-60 fps
- Ability to turn off recording mouse cursorInstall Kazam in Ubuntu
Kazam 1.0 is available from its unstable PPA, for Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04:
