ClassicMenu Indicator Updated With System Settings Categories

  • In the past, I have written about a classic menu indicator that can be used with Unity to give it a Gnome 2 style menu.

The ClassicMenu Indicator’s developer Florian Dieschupdated updated the menu yesterday to version 0.07, which added “Personal, Hardware, System” categories to the menu, as well as, some bug fixes.

Run the following commands in the terminal:

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:diesch/testing
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install classicmenu-indicator>

Then start the classicmenu indicator from the Unity dash and it will show up in the notification area.

    Thanks: ILoveUbuntu
