Share/Backup Android Apps With MyAppSharer

  • Lifehacker wrote about this handy little android app yesterday called MyAppSharer.  I liked it so I thought I share it with you.  With MyAppSharer, you can share your android apps with your friends by sending them a link to the Android Market, or you sending them the whole android app APK.  Link sharing can be sent by way of text messaging, bluetooth, Facebook, Google+, barcode, note in Google Reader, WordPress, Twitter, Dropbox, Gmail, and email.  You can send the app APKs by bluetooth, social sharing (I couldn’t get that to work), Gmail, and email.

Note: Sharing Android apps (APK) is technically illegal.  The free apps may be fine but paid apps is definitely a no no.  I only use APK sharing as a way to backup my android apps.  I email the APK to myself and store it on my computer.  You never know if your favorite app will get pulled from the Android Market.

MyAppSharer does NOT require root access.
