Archos Announce 2 Android Honeycomb G9 Tablets

  • Archos announced today 2 new members to it’s android tablet lineup with the 80 G9 and 101 G9 Android Honeycomb tablets. The 80 G9 has an 8-inch touch screen with a resolution of a 1024×768. The 101 G9 has a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800. Both tablets run Android 3.1 Honeycomb and are powered by dual core OMAP4 processors clocked in at 1.5GHz. Each tablet features a front facing 720p camera. These tablets have massive storage capacity with 250GB Seagate hard drives. Archos’ new 3G usb stick is available for an extra $49 providing pay-as-you-go 3G connectivity, in addition to wifi.

    The tablets will be available at the end of September for $279 for the 80 G9, and $349 for the 101 G9.
