Remove AppMenu (Global Menu) in Unity ~ Ubuntu 11.04

  If you are one of the people who do not like the AppMenu (Global Menu) in Unity, this tutorial will show you how to remove it.

  Open the Synaptic Package Manager and mark the following 4 appmenu packages listed below for complete removal.

  appmenu-gtk
  firefox-globalmenu
  indicator-applet-appmenu
  indicator-appmenu

  

  Apply the changes, restart your computer, and you will be good to go.
