Gtk+ 3.2 Will Let You Run Any Application In A Browser

  • Gtk+ 3.2 will let you run application in a browser thanks to the new HTML5 gdk backend. You will be able to run any GTK app, remotely (or on the same computer), using a web browser.

It is not final. Everything does not work. It is only supported in Firefox 4.

I am not quite sure how this is helpful, but it is pretty cool none the less. What do you think? Is this another step toward cloud computing?
